This customer wanted the pool in the backyard eliminated and new landscaping in the back and front areas of the yard.
There was no way to get a bobcat in the back, so we ( Mike & I ) moved 150,000 lbs of fill sand and then gravel using wheelbarrows into the pool & backyard areas.

Here is how it looked as we started...

We started by scraping and loading the empty pool with all the existing gravel in the
back and front landscapes. Then sand came.

After the sand, we installed new sante fe brown landscape gravel into all the areas.

This is a cedar gate treated with Penofin ( red label - western red cedar tone ).
This is a "thin frame" gate using lap joints with an arched top.
This was done in August of 2011.

These are photos of 180' of cedar fence and one double gate before wood treatment in Nashville. The installation was in August of 2011 at the Bissell Home. The ground was hard clay and rocks. Holes were made using a spud bar and a Hilti drill with an auger bit. This was the most difficult post installation I've ever had.

These are photos of a cedar gate & fence treated with 'Penofin'during installation. The color is western red cedar I developed the dsign from pictures Jack and Ginny had of fences they liked. Ginny wanted a "thumb latch"...they do not make them for double swing gates...I looked at the hardware
design, and with some cutting and drilling, I may have made the first thumb latch for a double swing gate ! This was installed in Albuquerque in June, 2011. Click each photo for a larger picture.

Here are some "before and after" photos of this two level block retaining wall replaced a 48" high wood retaining wall. We removed over 70 tons of earth and about 40 concrete embedded wood posts....installed as if they were building a sky scraper!...
This was done in Albuquerque in April of 2011
