2/22/12: For Youcef Nadarkhani, an Iranian who converted from Islam to Christianity who has been sentenced to death for apostacy. Pray for him and his family and for God to use his brave heart to further his kingdom in Iran.

on 12/31/11 all of last years posts were moved to the archives.
1/4/12 John M.: 32 mins on the Menaul trails. I was really thanking the Lord for all the blessings and answers that have come recently. Also for jobs & economic stabilty for many. Also a special request shared by Mike for a friend.
1/1/12 John M.: 40 mins around Academy school : Prayed for Ed and all those looking for job & economic answers. Prayed also for slow running "me"
12/31/11 John M. : 40 minutes ( or so ) around Academy school behind ( 6 minutes) a small group of runners. I changed the name of the running club to "slow TRIP" because of my pace ( ha ha ). I was praying that I could finish the run and that the Lord would bless & develop this running group for His purposes !
12/27/11 John M.: 30 mins on the La Luz Trail. It was slick & muddy. I was just grateful for all the blessed events of 2011 and all the opportunities for prayer, fellowship, and finding the purpose of Jesus in all.

12/17/11 John M.: 40 mins on the Menaul Trails... I took the list with me and spent time on everyone on it.
Lord, so many of our needs and struggles are like the up-hill runs. As we look to you for direction and answers, turn our hearts toward you with the ease and relief of the down-hill pace. I trust you and know you are working and moving on our behalf.
11/30/11, John M.: 42 mins on the La Luz trail praying for Fred & Rudy. I'm asking for forgiveness for them and a space for turning to Christ and finding the healing of relationships and life they need.
11/26/11, John M.: 45 mins on the Menaul trails... "prayed around the bases" I prayed for everyone and every need I could think about.
11/27/11: For Fred : His marriage needs healing & restoration. 12/4- Update: They are getting back together after the Holy Spirit gave a dream / warning to one of them and they are looking to get counseling.
11/27/11: Private: Prayerful plans and a budget for a needed family vacation in the spring !
11/18/11: We were praying for Patti M for getting some writing & editing work and some new work has come in !
11/18/11: We were praying for John M for new Safety Barrier projects to come in...and one has- keep praying ! 11/27/11: Franklin Graham: Nearly 9 million children will receive the "Christmas Child" box this Christmas season. This is a fantastic Samaritan Purse outreach. Pray for these children to find Jesus in a real way !
11/27/11: For Rudy: He has lived a long and difficult life without a relationship with Jesus. Praying for God to send someone to reach him with the good news of a new life in Christ.
11/18/11: For Nancy: Nancy lost her husband early in 2011. The holiday times can be especially tough. Pray for strength and healing during this time of grief.
11/18/11: For Joyce: She is in a battle with cancer. We have been praying and she has had improvement.
11/18/11: John Matuszak, Sr : praying for Coker Landscaping to stay busy through the winter months with good projects. - 12/12/11 update: Winter has arrived and we'll be focused on other work.
I Timothy 2: 1 - 4 : " I urge then first of all that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth."
Romans 8: 26 & 27 "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." ( NKJV )
Ephesians 6:18- "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." ( NIV)
Phillippians 4: 5-7 ... "The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Phillippians 4: 19 "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
Hebrews 11:6 -"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. ( NIV)
